Each of us is living and breathing, acting, and reacting. We don\u2019t stand still even if we want to and neither do they!&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">BUT God is not changing! He is the only completely secure attachment is this world!&nbsp; God, the Father; God, the Son; and God, the Holy Spirit are together working in each of our lives\u2026 \u201cIt is God who is at work in you, to will and to do His good pleasure.\u201d (Philippians 2:13)<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">This year has brought significant changes in my own faith\/life in Jesus. Loses and gains have both impacted who I am and what I believe. Even though it\u2019s been a challenging year, I am thankful it has also been a deepening year of faith and trust in Jesus.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">There is one important step in reconstructing our faith that frees us to keep on growing and experiencing rich life with Jesus, no matter what changes we experience. The Apostle Paul talks about it:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:80px;white-space:pre-wrap;\" class=\"\">\u201cI want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection of the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.&nbsp; Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.&nbsp; But one thing I do:&nbsp; Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.\u201d (Phil. 3:10-14)<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cForgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:120px;white-space:pre-wrap;\" class=\"\">\u2026frees us from both failures and successes, losses, and gains, which easily keep our lives fixed on the past, rather than moving into the future with a sense of purpose and hope.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:120px;white-space:pre-wrap;\" class=\"\">\u2026allows us to come as we are to Jesus, being honest with whatever has hurt us or how we have hurt others. Then we allow Him to make us into the kind of people he wants us to be and lead us into the future! Remember Jesus\u2019 words: \u201cThe thief comes only to steal and kill; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:120px;white-space:pre-wrap;\" class=\"\">\u2026enables us to see TODAY more through Jesus\u2019 eyes and not just through our own. When we look through Jesus\u2019 eyes, we see him harvesting lives for the good and for God! We begin to want to be a part of this harvesting, to experience it for ourselves and then for others. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Maybe today you are stuck in the past with a loss you don\u2019t know how to release or forget. You aren\u2019t ready to let go. You don\u2019t want to let go of it. Too many sins, too many mistakes and damage done to yourself or others! The story of the Prodigal son is one I need to hear again and again. Maybe you do too? It gives us a window into the heart of God: <\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:80px;white-space:pre-wrap;\" class=\"\">\u201cSo he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. The son said to him, \u2018Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.&nbsp;I am no longer worthy to be called your son.\u2019 But the father said to his servants, \u2018Quick! Bring the best robe&nbsp;and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger&nbsp;and sandals on his feet.&nbsp;&nbsp;Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let\u2019s have a feast and celebrate.&nbsp;&nbsp;For this son of mine was dead and is alive again;&nbsp;he was lost and is found.\u2019 So they began to celebrate.\u201d (Luke 15:20-24)<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">I invite you to come and let the Father meet you where you are! <span style=\"text-decoration:underline\">We make the choice to come; He meets us on the path! <\/span>Let Him assist you in your reconstruction through loving you as you are, forgetting what is behind and celebrating your return home!<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">The younger son chose to leave the old self behind and let the new self begin again!<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">The Renewing Life Center is here to welcome you for whatever life need or issue you choose to bring.
